Welcome to The Women's Whiskey Society™, a passionate women's whiskey club dedicated to monthly chapter events in the Texas area. Currently, we have chapters in Clear Lake, The Woodlands, and Pearland, with plans to expand to more locations later this year. Through our partnerships with multiple distilleries, our mission is to deliver a fun and immersive whiskey experience every month at our chapter events, where we shine a spotlight on different distillers and their unique whiskies. Summer Sanford, a native of Houston, is a vibrant and charismatic leader who injects every event with a delightful blend of joy, wisdom, and sparkle. As the President and Founder of The Women's Whiskey Society™, Summer is dedicated to empowering women and creating a space where they can thrive. By breaking down barriers and challenging traditional norms, she has fostered an inclusive environment that encourages women to believe in themselves and embrace their passions for whiskey. Summer's visionary leadership has paved the way for women to claim their rightful place in a domain historically dominated by men.

When I looked at the whiskey industry it hit me that women were always historically in the background, but only recently had a seat at the table.
